The Jamestown Miller Lite Merchants improved to 6-2 with a 5-4 win over the Mayville Redcaps in Fargo League play on Wednesday night.
The Merchants scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning and two in the eighth.
Nick Salentine went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases. He also earned the save on the mound, pitching two innings with a pair of strikeouts.
Bryan Erstad swiped three bags, going 1-for-2 with a run and two walks. Joe Vannett had an RBI double. Brady Anderson and Jared Purdy singled and scored. Purdy added an RBI.
Derek Zitzow went the first seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits with nine strikeouts.
