Jeff Nold clubbed two home runs, doubled and had three RBI to help the Jamestown Merchants over the Enderlin Indies 12-7 on Monday night.
Luke Anderson also went deep for the Merchants as part of a 3-for-5 outing. Three-hole hitter Bryan Erstad banged out three hits in six at bats with a double, run, two RBI and a stolen base.
Preston Jensen finished 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI. Anthony Fontana also had a multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with two runs as part of the Merchants’ 15-hit attack.
Jensen, the second of three pitchers, earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief. Brandon Baumgartner worked the eighth and ninth innings, without allowing a run, to notch the save.
The Merchants (18-8) played the Jamestown Elks Wednesday night in Fargo.
