Fresh off of leading Centennial High School to the Maryland 3A State Championship, coach Chad Hollwedel led the regular season champion Sharks team to the tournament final. The Sharks started the day with a convincing win over Burleigh in the first semi final while Pat O'Grady's Reisterstown WolfPack earned their spot in the final racing by the Catonsville C-Hawks in the other semi final.
