Florence Twp. falls 10-2 at the hands of South Jersey Storm

South Jersey Storm beat Florence Twp. on Sunday 10-2 at Florence in seven innings.

South Jersey Storm scored four runs in the seventh on a two-run triple by Zack Mackiewicz, an RBI single by Jared Beekler, and a groundout by Jack Terifay.

Zack racked up two RBIs on two hits for South Jersey Storm.

Dylan Semola baffled Florence Twp., striking out seven batters. South Jersey Storm's pitcher gave up just three hits over four shutout innings.

South Jersey Storm easily handled Florence Twp. pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, eight RBIs and eight runs scored.

The lead stayed with South Jersey Storm after the first, when it scored three runs on a groundout by Daniel Travers and a two-run single by Michael McNinney.

South Jersey Storm added two more runs in the top of the sixth. A clutch ground out scored Eddie Probst to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Kieran Dowdy's single, bringing home Daniel.
