It is with pleasure that I give a personal reference for Coach Jeremy Schulte. Coach Schulte coached our 6th grade son, Max, this Fall at Nothin But Net Sports Facility.
I've been involved in youth sports for many years...as a coach and as a parent. Below are some data points that are relevant...
-Coach Schulte brings to the sport of basketball something that I feel is heavily overlooked and somewhat under-rated...attention to individual player development. I've seen evidence this season with nearly every player on his team...one on one time before and after practice or games.
-He speaks truth to the players when they need to hear it....both good and bad.
-He emphasizes teamwork over individual performance.
Thanks for the opportunity to provide some feedback on Coach Schulte.

I heard from Jeremy that he was applying for a head coach position at New Richmond. I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much my son, Jonathan, has enjoyed playing for Coach Schulte. Jonathan played for Jeremy for an AAU team. My son claims he's the best coach he has had so far (playing for 5 years for multiple school and AAU programs) and I would have to agree. He has taught the kids how to work hard and believe in themselves. His enthusiasm and positive attitude is contagious and created a positive environment for the boys. He always remained calm and didn't get stressed out yelling at the boys when things got tough in a game which isn't always the case with coaches these days. I think any basketball program would be fortunate to have him as a coach and I wish him the best.
Best regards,
Nancy
To whom it may concern,
Please find this note as a letter of recommendation for Jeremy Schulte related to his performance as the AAU coach for my son’s 6thgrade basketball team. Jeremy has done a fine job as a motivator, strategist, and game manager. We also appreciated his constant communication. He was a good role model for the boys, as he displayed the appropriate level of intensity and demeanor with the boys, other coaches, parents and referees.
It was pleasure getting to know him and we would certainly want our son to play for him in the future.
Thanks,
Brian and Heather Albanese
To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Erik Wake, and I was contacted to express my thoughts and opinions about Jeremy Schulte as a coach, a leader and a friend. I have known Jeremy for almost five years now, and it all began when he was a coach on my son's youth football team. Beside the head coach at that time, Jeremy was the first coach to take the time to get involved with not only the football players, but their parents as well. He would listen to what the kids had to say and also what the parents had to complain about and would handle the matter in the most professional way possible. One thing that I can say about Jeremy that to this day he stands out to every parent on our football team (which Jeremy is no longer with this team), is he always got down on the kids level and actually learned how each kid reacted to the way they were disciplined and adapted to them individually. He always made sure that as much as you disciplined, you were also praised just as much.
After two years of watching him coach football, I asked Jeremy if he would want to help coach the same group of kids in basketball with me. Once the parents heard about us coaching together, a few of the kids transfered from another basketball team because they knew both our styles of coaching would blend together nicely.
Lastly, Jeremy was not only looked at as a coach, but a really close friend to most if not all. After every game he made sure that he let everyone know where they would be attending lunch or dinner, depending on time of day. He would also make sure that each kid knew how important they were to the team, and his personal family.
If there were any questions about Jeremy Schulte's coaching ability, attitude, personality with others, I hope after reading this letter it shows how important this man is in the eyes of his friends, family, and players.
Thank you,
Erik Wake
I want to express my support for Jeremy Schulte being the coach of the 4th grade NR Athletic basketball team. Carson K is a member of the team.
We had a very positive experience these last seasons with Jeremy as Coach. He is positive with the kids, he leads all practices and games. He attends all practices and games. We had a cohesive team that worked well together.
It is important to have regularly scheduled practice nights. We all are busy with all family members and need regularly scheduled practices.
Most importantly the kids learned the fundamentals of basketball and had fun in the process!
Thank you,
Cathy Kuhlman

Last year when Isaac played for Jeremy, he fairly new to basketball and the player development and understanding of the game under Jeremy was outstanding. He went from being an kid who just liked to play basketball, to playing for a select AAU team over the summer after just one season with Jeremy as his coach. I was really hoping that going into this season Jeremy would be very involved in this team and coaching my son again. I feel that for my son, and the other boys on this team, Jeremy would be the best coach, not only for player development, but also from the standpoint of making sure the kids enjoy playing. Jeremy brings enthusiasm and enjoyment to even the simplest drills that help make the sport fun, while at the same time teaching valuable skills. I have not even once seen him yell or scream at a player and he always has a positive attitude. He makes sure that when mistakes are made, they are turned into learning opportunities rather than punishing the children.
Thank you for taking the time to read my email and I am really looking forward to this season as a parent.
