- Macy Houart led Holcomb in scoring, putting nine points on the board, in a 59-26 loss to the Malden Lady Green Wave. This was Malden's first win of the season, with their record now at 1-3.
- Although they scored a game-high 11 points during the first quarter, Holcomb Lady Hornets Varsity fell behind fast, trailing 31-15 by the half.
- Also chipping in for Holcomb were Hannah Burk (4 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks), Kiarstan Presson (3 points, 2 rebounds), Bailey Cupples (3 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block), and Sarah Williams (2 points, 4 rebounds, 5 steals).
- Holcomb finished the game with 20 rebounds (3 offensive / 17 defensive), four blocks and 11 steals.
- The Lady Hornets are on the road to play the Dexter Lady Bearcats tonight at 6:30 at the Bearcat Event Center.
