- Holcomb emerged victorious 42-26 against East Carter on Tuesday on the strength of Macy Houart, who scored 17 points.
- After an impressive 20-4 run, Holcomb Lady Hornets Varsity ended the first half in the lead with a score of 20-6. Holcomb cemented their lead in the third quarter, scoring 12 points.
- With eight points, Houart saw her best shooting performance in the second period.
- Two other players also added ten or more points for Holcomb. Bailey Cupples racked up 10 points and Sarah Williams contributed 10 points. Also helping the effort for Holcombwere Hannah Burk (4 points, 11 rebounds) and McKienzie Canter (2 points).
- Holcomb finished the game with 42 rebounds (13 offensive / 29 defensive) and six steals.
