NEW MADRID, Mo. – Tylei Wofford-Byrd poured in a game-high 20 points to help the New Madrid County Central girls basketball team break a four-game losing streak with a 65-20 win over visiting Holcomb Monday.
Alexis Phillips added 18 points for the Eagles (10-4), who held a dominant 18-point lead after the first quarter.
Holcomb (2-12) was led by Macy Houart's 15 points.
