- In a great showing, Macy Houart scored 17 points, but this was not enough as Holcomb fell to Caruthersville 44-39. Caruthersville (MO) clinched their lead in the fourth quarter on a two-pointer.
- Holcomb Lady Hornets Varsity put up points early in the game, entering the second half with a 21-16 advantage. Caruthersville, however, came back for the victory.
- Houart led the charge for Holcomb's offense, scoring 17 points, with seven points during the third period. She also contributed two rebounds and one steal.
- Kiarstan Presson put two three-pointers on the board and scored 10 points total. Also helping the effort for Holcomb were Bailey Cupples (7 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals) and Hannah Burk (4 points, 5 rebounds).
- Holcomb finished the game with 45 rebounds (24 offensive / 21 defensive) and four steals.
