The St. Louis Spikes sweep 2017 Mon Clair Playoffs by beating the Valmeyer Lakers 9-5, St. Louis Printers 7-4 and then a 2 game Championship sweep from the host Belleville Rockies 9-4 and 9-3.
The Printers victory was a revenge game from the 2016 championship series where the Printers swept the Spikes in 2.
