The Model Laboratory baseball team advanced to the semifinals of the 11th Region All “A” Classic with a 11-0 win over Frankfort on Monday in Lexington.

The Patriots (2-1) had 10 hits blew the game open with six runs in the fourth inning.

Model will take on Lexington Christian Academy today in Lexington.

Taylor Hill was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI. John Frazier was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Casey Brandenburg was 1-for-3 with two RBI. Mitchell McCown was 1-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI. Nate Davis was 1-for-3 with two RBI. Cruse Pingleton had a hit and scored a run.

Jakob Tharp was 1-for-2 scored twice and had an RBI. Brandon Tudor had a double and scored a run.

Brandenburg started and went four innings, allowing three hits and one walk with seven strikeouts.

Hill pitched one inning, allowing one hit.
