   CBE Exposure Basketball Tournament Rules 

 All rules as outlined by the governing body for high school basketball will be followed with the following expectations and amendments:

1. Two 20-minute halves, running clock format, clock stops last 2 minutes of the game.

2. Game time is forfeit time. Site Director has final say in certain situations.

3. Three 30 second timeouts per game, no carry over.

4. 3-minute pre-game warmup and 3-minute half-time. Site Director may alter the times to keep games on time.

5. Overtime will be two minutes with the last min stop clock with one additional timeout awarded. Timeouts do not carry over from regulation. Third overtime will be sudden death.

6. Double-bonus on 10th team foul.

7. Mercy Rule: No press if a team has a 20-point lead over the other. Points must be brought back under 14.

8. Home team wears light colored jersey, and visitor wears dark colored jersey. Home team is listed first and provides game ball.

9. A player may play on only one team per division, unless within the same organization. A player may play up but not down. 

10. Our events are grade first and then age base. Proof is required of each Coach and team on request. Challenges are at the Director’s discretion and must be conducted prior to the game only.

11. Tie breakers will be as follows; (a) Point differential (15pt max), (b) Head-to-Head

12. Unsigned Seniors welcome to compete.

Coaches must keep copies of their players’ birth certificate certificates, report cards, or official document, at all times during each event participation.

Head Coaches are 100% liable for any and all circumstances including but not limited to damage and behavior on behalf their organization athletes, parents, coaches, and spectators that are part of their group. No refunds once registered.

CBE Exposure assumes no liability or responsibility. By registering to compete in any of our CBE Exposure events, all coaches agree to and accept these terms set forth.

Each team is responsible for providing a scorekeeper or clock operator for each of their games. There will no free pass for scorekeepers.

Coaches Passes; We will provide coaches passes per team. Head Coach, upon registration, will give the name of the assistant coach that will be given a pass. No one will be able to accept the pass for another it must be signed for at the gate.

Directors and Officials at their discretion may instruct removal of players, parents, fans, or coaches from the gym for inappropriate behavior.

Head Coaches are encouraged to assist in promoting good sportsmanship with their organization base and fans before, during, and after the event. WE ARE HERE FOR THE KIDS! Security enforced.

No Tolerance policy: Any players throwing punches or pushing will be immediately ejected from that game. If this takes place between games, they will be disqualified from the next game.

For your convenience we accept Cash, Visa, or MasterCard at the gate with a $3 processing fee. No one will be allowed entry without a band. Floor monitors will verify. Floor Supervisors will handle all issues that arise.
