We’re always excited to welcome new churches and teams to be part of our growing community.

About the League
Our league is made up of teams from churches in and around the Harrisburg area. We are specifically a Church Softball League—not a coed league—meaning we welcome women to play, but do not require an equal number of male and female players. Some teams have several women on their roster, while others may have none.

Season Overview
We typically have a 20-game regular season, with games held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00 or 6:30 PM. Some weeks, teams may play on both nights. Every team qualifies for the playoffs at the end of the regular season.

The season begins with single games. As daylight extends toward the end of May, we shift to doubleheaders starting at 6:00 PM.

Game Details

·         Slow-pitch softball

·         7-inning games

·         USA (ASA) certified umpires

·         6’–12’ pitch arc

·         Single-wall bats only

·         One-and-one count to start each at-bat

Fields We Use
Games are played at various fields around Harrisburg, including:

·         Across from the Farm Show Complex on Cameron Street

·         Bethany Church field on Linglestown Road

·         Brightbill Field (YMCA/Friendship Center) in Lower Paxton Township

Eligibility & Requirements

·         Teams are church-based

·         At least 4 players on the roster must be church members or involved in church activities

·         Minimum player age: 14 (though few players are that young)

·         No maximum age limit!

·         Rosters must be signed by the team’s pastor

League Dues & Fundraising
League dues cover the cost of umpires, field rentals, and softballs.
We also encourage all players to take part in league fundraising events, including:

·         Annual Golf Tournament
