2025 SEASON

LEAGUE BY-LAWS:



  1.  All games are played at Faxon Park

 

  1. There are 2 divisions, A & B ( B split into 2 halfs )

 

  1. All games are played at 6:30pm, 7:45pm and 9:00pm

 

  1. Only alloy barrel bats are allowed, composite bats are prohibited.

 

  1. Metal cleats are prohibited

 

  1. There is a NO CRASH RULE, you must slide to avoid or you will be thrown out of the game

 

  1. Fake tags are prohibited; you will be thrown out of the game

 

  1. There are 2 balls used a game, provided by the umpire

 

  1. There is a double base at first, bases are set at 65’

 

  1. Arc pitches are 6’ to 12’ (a mat for balls and strikes are used) All batters start out with 1 and 1.  After 2 strikes, you have 2 fouls, then you are out

 

  1. Four courtesy runners are used per game, which is the last batted out player and can be used at anytime

 

  1. Two extra hitters can be used, 1, 2 or none , 1 DH can be used in addition to the extra hitters

 

  1. Umpires are paid $25 per team before each game

 

  1. To alleviate forfeited games, every effort must be made to play the game.  Please call me prior, I will attempt to provide players or you could ask players from other teams to fill in to play the game.  If you forfeit a game, you pay the umpire $50

 

  1. You must begin the game with 8 players and a 9th and 10th player can be added at anytime

 

  1. The HOME team playing at 9:00pm is responsible for putting away the bases, mat and turning the lights off

 

  1. Teams playing at 6:30 must help prepare the field for the night, especially if it has rained prior to game time

 

  1. All rainout games will be called by 5:30 ish and if the game is cancelled, all will be rescheduled for the first available date

 

  1. All teams make the playoffs,in A Division , in each B division 4 vs 5 with winner to play 1 and 2 vs 3 winner of each B division play for championship . The length of the series depends on the remaining season and are 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 or 4 out of 7

 

  1. Prize money for A division first & second regular season and first & second place playoffs and B division first & second regular season and first & second playoffs

 

   21)  All are responsible for disposal of their trash after games

     22)   Tiebreakers are head to head ,then total runs scored vs opp ,so get those scores to me
