Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct (Softball Manitoba Handbook) 

LFLW  BEHAVIOR :

a. The coach(s) and manager(s) shall be responsible for the sportsmanlike conduct of

themselves, their assistants, their players and to the extent possible - the spectators cheering

their team. Coaches and players may cheer or encourage their own players, but shall not

intimidate coaches or players of the opposing team. Foul language, fighting, or similar

conduct will not be tolerated.

b. Smoking and/or Liquor Prohibitions

i. No smoking, vaping, liquor and/or other recreational impairment inducing

substances shall be allowed within 100 feet of the benches or on the playing field area.

ii. The offending person(s) will be given one warning and the team manager shall be

advised that the warning has been given. A second incident will lead to the ejection

from the game.

The Executive shall have the power to suspend any individual or individuals whose conduct

is detrimental to the game of Softball. The suspended individual or team shall have the right

to appeal to the protest committee, whose decision will be final.
