It was a back and forth contest that saw the Fargo Crows prevail in 10 innings over the Merchants in their final tune up before the state tournament. The Merchant bats took awhile to get going, but they did end up with six players with two hit games. It still wasn't enough as the Crows pounded out 15 hits of their own.
JB took the hard luck loss on the mound as the Crows blooped in the go ahead run in the 10th with the free baserunner in the California rules.
The Merchants are now 13-2 and will look to bounce back at the upcoming AAA State Tournament in Jamestown, August 20, 21.
