The Merchants busted out in a big way with 17 runs on 17 hits to beat the Crows 17-2 in seven innings Wednesday night at Starion Field.

JB, and Erstad led the way with three hits including a double and three RBI's a piece.  Jesse added three hits while Tommy and Preston collected two hits.

John, Ethan, Baumy, Alme, and Lance all toed the rubber and held the Crows to two runs striking out 11.

Last week the Merchants dropped a game to the Mets 3-2.  Their first loss to them in 16 tries.

The Merchants look to keep the hot bats and strong pitching going into the State Tournament starting August 18th at 8:00 pm vs. Mayville in Jamestown.
