AWARDS
- MVP - Corbin Foster
- Corbin Foster for Martin Jewelry has been voted on by our ref’s as our League MVP for the Spring 2025. Our MVP award this session was done by a vote count game by game. Each game our Refs vote an offensive and defensive MVP. From there the MVP is given to the player that received votes in both categories and had the most total votes. Corbin lead the league in offensive votes while receiving enough defensive votes to lock in the MVP award. Corbin did not miss a single game all while playing nearly every snap. He is a monster offensive weapon that draws a lot of attention from other defenses. As well as playing Corner. On defense he is an elite flag puller and very versatile. He has played snaps at safety and rusher but shines at corner. He is well deserving of his 2nd MVP award! Congrats to your 2025 Spring league MVP Corbin Foster!
- Offensive Player of the Session (OPoS) - Andy Tran
- Andy Tran for OTA is our OPoS for the Spring 2025 Session. As stated in the MVP race…our refs vote on an offensive and defensive MVP each game. I tracked the votes all session and the MVP is removed from OPoS and DPoS. Andy has been making a splash in the league for a few sessions now. Specifically for his agility and speed. He really started to come into his dominance during our Monday night league in the winter. He fell short that session of the MVP votes but did not this session. He revamped his OTA team in which he is the captain. He took over at QB and added some athletes and they made HUGE strides within the league. Offensively he added a lot of the diversity while improving as a passer all while continuing to do damage with his legs. Congrats to your Spring OPoS is Andy Tran!
- Defensive Player of the Session (DPoS) - Jordan Colofiore
- Jordan Colofiore for OTA is our DPoS for the Spring 2025 Session. As stated in the MVP race…our refs vote on an offensive and defensive MVP each game. I tracked the votes all session and the MVP is removed from OPoS and DPoS. It is not very often that a new name just steps in and wins one of the top honors within the league but that is what Jordan did. Not only has he not been a regular in our league but he was not even on a roster in either winter session! With that said he sure took our league by storm on the defensive votes. Beating out some of our perennial dominant players in the league for this award. Congrats to your Spring DPoS Jordan Colofiore!
- Top QB - Joe Pieper
- Joe Pieper for Oskie is your top QB for the Spring 2025 Session. The Top QB award was decided in 2 waves. First every QB that played most/all snaps as QB for their team in a google form and voted on by all of our refs. The hard part about this race is that we had 3 QB’s receive almost all the votes and were tied by the end of this vote. So to break the tie I restarted the vote and collected 23 votes from refs and players around the league that were not teammates of any of the players involved. After this Joe snuck out the win in an EXTREMELY tight race. Joe is QB of the offense that scores the most points in the league this session. He regularly extends plays and makes big time throws. All while Oskie played a very tough schedule. Congrats to your Spring Top QB Joe Pieper!
- Top Rusher - AJ Lincoln
- AJ Lincoln for Martin Jewelry is your top rusher for the Spring 2025 Session. The Top rusher award was decided in the first wave of voting. Not that there wasn’t very viable options behind AJ, but any QB that has faced AJ can attest he is an absolute menace of a blitzer. Not only does AJ get to you fast, but he is controlled and relentless. I personally have seen AJ get multiple safety sacks strictly on making the QB retreat out of bounds attempting to avoid him. Not only that but then when throwbacks and other offensive schemes happen that ask for the rusher to do other roles…AJ is always up for the task and constantly being a terror to all offenses. Congrats to your Spring Top Rusher AJ Lincoln
- Top Center - Marlon Thomas
- Marlon Thomas for Oducks is your top center for the Spring 2025 Session. The Top center award was decided in 2 waves. First every Center that played most/all snaps as Center for their team in a google form and voted on by all of our refs. The hard part about this race is that we had 2 centers receive almost all the votes and were tied by the end of this vote. So to break the tie I restarted the vote and collected 23 votes from refs and players around the league that were not teammates of any of the players involved. After this Marlon created a little separation and locked in this award. Marlon has been a force in our league from the center position for years now. It is rightfully so he receives some recognition. Marlon may look like a DT (Which he is a dang good one in tackle) but he moves like a WR. Regularly making flag pullers miss all while using his size and strength to make contested catches. He is a dominant force from the center position! Congrats to your Spring Top Center Marlon Thomas!
TEAM
- Top Offense - Oskie
- Oskie has won the Spring 2025 Best Offense award. This award was voted on by the refs. It was not strictly tied to points scored but also taken into account the strength of schedule and versatility of the offense. With tons of weapons and selflessness this team has proven to be an offensive force. Oskie led the entire league in scoring with 429 points scored over 12 games which is a 35.75 point average. This was 39 points more than the next best. This all comes while playing majority of a pro schedule. Playing the 2, 3, and 5 seed in pro as well as the other semi pro teams. Oskie also regularly missed players at times this season and continued to show the “next man up” mentality. Congrats to Oskie your Spring 2025 Best Offense.
- Top Defense - CSK
- CSK has won the Spring 2025 Best Defense Award. This award was voted on by the refs. It was not strictly tied to points allowed but also taken into account the strength of schedule and versatility of the defense. After also having to use a lot of different looking lineups paired with playing a top 3 strength of schedule CSK was still a top 5 defense overall in points allowed and 2nd in pro for points allowed. Averaging only giving up 17 points per game will keep you in a lot of games and is clearly why they are a perennial power in the league! Congrats to CSK your Spring 2025 Best Defense.
- Most Improved - OTA
- OTA has won the Spring 2025 Most Improved Team award. This award was voted on by the refs. This was an award that looks at how a team progressed over multiple sessions as well as this session. There were a few really good candidates for this award, but OTA absolutely is deserving! After being a bottom seed in the Monday night winter session and being eliminated by forfeit in the playoffs OTA had to revamp. AND THEY DID JUST THAT! They started the session 2-3 and then figured things out. Winning 7 in a row and locking in the #1 seed in rec. It is clear they continue to learn and grow and thats why they have won this award. Congrats to OTA your Spring 2025 Most Improved Team.
