Two of the Lehigh Valley Msbl Mabl current members, who are also hall of fame members, recently participated in the first ever over 80 division 2024 MSBL / MABL National World Series Tournament in Phoenix Arizonia.
Turk Starniri (over 60 Moondog's) and DelBuss (Over 60 Old Prospects) joined forces with the Canton "Captain's", a team from Canton Ohio that honored the memory of the late great Thurmon Munson, by all wearing the number 15 on their uniform.
Their strategy of making it difficult for the opposing team to keep track of shared, courtesy and speed-up runners by all wearing the number 15 propelled them to a second place finish and a trip to the championship where they fell short losing to the Sacramento Solons who were undefeated in the entire tournament.
