Official Scores
Effective immediately. All teams MUST confirm scores inning by inning with the Umpire In Chief. Once scores are confirmed by inning, those scores then become official. (you may not say in the fifth inning that the score is different, for example).
Unfortunately, not all teams keep scorebooks. (not only is accurate scorekeeping very helpful in tracking games played and performance, it is obviously the record of the game score).
In summary, the score the Umpire In Chief has at the conclusion of the game will be the Final Score. Both teams must present scorebooks to the Umpire In Chief before leaving the field if there are and discrepancies.
