Description:
Semi-pro is a division that was created to allow players to play on a second team. This division will play both pro and rec teams throughout the season, but will have their own playoffs. The Semi pro playoff will always be separate from the pro playoffs and will try to always be on its own when no other playoffs are happening. The purpose of Semi-Pro is to give players that opportunity as well as give players a chance to play with a different group of guys. Originally development was a primarty goal and it is still encouraged, but it is not a main focus. So if you are just looking to play more games, or have a second team with a different group of friends then Semi-Pro is for you. In the Spring, Summer and Fall (Outdoors sessions) this will be on Thursday nights. In the winter this will be on Monday nights. To strive to create even and competitive games we have created a rule set that limits rosters. Please check the "pro players" tab on the home page to get the list of Pro players. the rules are as follows:
Semi pro rules:
- 2 pro players max
- 3 “two way players” max (Plays on 2 teams)
- No pro subs (No matter the role)
Grandfather clause
- Any team that has spent 3 or more sessions together cannot be broken up due to players getting picked up by other teams or players being added to the pro list
New Team rule:
New teams or teams that have not won the semi pro division in the Past 4 sessions will not have to follow the “two way player” rule

I feel that with these rules in place along, with the grandfather clause and new team rule, this will allow teams that have been together to stick together. This will allow players that are committed to this team first to get picked up and compete in the pro division. It allows the teams that are not winning or new to pick up some of the better players on rec teams and involve them in a higher level of play, and it limits the teams that are winning if they were to need any new players. I think this really allows us to clean up the semi pro and create more opportunities for players in the league as well as keep the division more competitive without tearing apart teams.

Clarifications:
Players listed on the pro list are only pro in the category listed. If they do not play the specific position they will not be labeled a pro player. This is week by week.
The pro list will have minimal changes as we move forward, however if there is a new player that comes in and instantly is a really good player they are potentially going to be tagged as a pro player.
If you have a pro player that misses you cannot get a sub that is listed anywhere on the pro list. You must use players that are not on the list at all.
