DYLAN CERONE – LONG ISLAND TITANS - GOLD

Dylan Cerone (Misericordia) batted .500 during the week.

  The incoming freshman outfielder had two triples, 3 RBIs, 3 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

VITO SPADAFINA – LONG ISLAND NOR’EASTERS

Vito Spadafina (SUNY Cobleskill) picked up a victory this week by tossing six scoreless innings while striking out 4 batters.

ROOKIES OF THE WEEK

DYLAN VANDERSCHUYT, JAMES MINUTILLO, MARCUS FIALLO – MVP BASEBALL

Dylan Vanderschuyt (Fairleigh Dickinson U), James Minutillo (SUNY Farmingdale), and Marcus Fiallo (Mercy U) are the recipients of the Rookie of the Week award. 

The three incoming freshmen pitchers helped MVP pick up the team’s first win of the season.

Vanderschuyt notched the win, hurling 3 innings while striking out 4 batters. 

Minutillo tossed 3 innings, striking out 2 batters and  Fiallo picked up the save striking out 2 batters in his one inning of work.
