NEW YORK STATE PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
        changes their Baseball Tournament Rotations and adds Regional At-Large teams this spring.

Spring 2026 NYSPHSAA Regional Rotations The Spring 2026 Regional Rotations continue the implementation
of the 3-Region format for post-season play in sports with nine or more participating Sections. This model was
developed to ensure equity, fairness, and transparency by applying a consistent, objective system that balances
responsibilities among Sections. The rotation minimizes travel where possible, distributes hosting and at-large
opportunities equitably, and provides clear guidelines for postseason matchups. By using this structured approach,
NYSPHSAA reinforces its commitment to fairness for all member schools and Sections while maintaining a
transparent process that can be applied uniformly across seasons and sports.
