Northeast Mississippi Summer High School Baseball Championship

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Teams will participate in “pool-play” in 3-5 team Regionals on June 18 & 19, 2026. All teams will advance to the single elimination Championship Round and will be seeded according to their finish in pool play to the Championship Round on June 22-24, 2026 at New Albany.

 All teams will play at least 3-4 games over the five/six-day period. The exact format could vary based on participation.

Mississippi High School Baseball Rules will be used in pool play and the championship rounds, except that no new inning will start after 1 hour and 45 minutes. This time limit will be in effect for each game until the final game of the Championship.

Competing teams are responsible for supplying baseballs during the game. Each team will provide three (3) game balls at the start of each game.

For pool play and championship rounds, the team listed first on the bracket will occupy the first base dugout, and the team listed second will occupy the third base dugout (except for the Regional host option).

POOL PLAY INFORMATION

There will be NO extra innings played during pool play. Any game tied at the end of 7 innings or when time has expired (if less than 7 innings) will end in a tie game.  (Exception: The Host Site has the option to allow ALL games at their site to play extra innings to determine a winner.)

Home Team will be the official book unless the host site provides a scorekeeper.

Regional host will be the home team when playing in regionals and occupy their home dugout.  All other Regional game's home teams will be decided by a coin flip.

Tie Breaker for Seeding:
1. Head to Head
2. Run Differential - Runs scored less runs given up (From highest to lowest)
3. Team with most runs scored
4. Team with least runs given up
5. Coin Toss

CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND INFORMATION

For the Championship round, the highest seed will be the home team. If two teams are seeded the same, a coin flip will decide the home team.

Entry Fee - $150/team
The LAST day to register for the tournament is Sunday, June 7, 2026
Entry Fees - Due on the day you play in the Championship round at New Albany

To view participating teams, click on Tournament Participants located in the menu bar on the left side of the homepage. Teams will be updated as they enter. Regional sites and pools will be announced and posted by Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
