The Lady Team G.O.O.D.8th Grade basketball team participated in their first official tournament Ballin ? At ? The Beach Tournament on April 27th-29th at North Myrtle Beach, SC. They entered the USBA tournament as a gauge to see where this newly formed group stood as a basketball team. To no ones surprise they came home with the trophy. Lead by the defense and scoring of SF Cydanisha Cooper (14.7ppg. 3.7 steals averages for the tournament) and had a triple double in the championship game (22pts, 12 rebounds, 11 Steals). They outscored their opponents by 115pts in 3 games, scoring 171 pts., while only allowing 56 pts. There were also several standout performances worth mentioning by SG-Breana Tyler 11ppg. avg., C-Anna Mcbride 9.7ppg avg., PG-Jessica Harris 9.0ppg avg. Lady TGSC beat the Georgia Stars 58-26 to win the championship. They are looking forward to the next tournament, their goal is to never stop growing as young women and basketball players
