25th ANNIVERSARY BANQUET
Everyone is invited to our banquet at the Marquis Gardens on the east mountain at 1050 Rymal Road East
for a sit down family style dinner. Highlights of the evening will be the induction of more members to the CNOBF Hall of Fame, a silent auction including autographed major league memorabilia, and an evening with Fergie Jenkins, Canada's only Baseball Hall of Fame member in Cooperstown.
So bring a little spending money (or your credit card) and be prepared for an evening of baseball fun.
Seating is limited to 340. Tickets are $35 per person including tax and gratuities. To be sure of a seat at the banquet, order the number of tickets you need and include a cheque to cover the amount. The deadline for pre-ordering tickets is July 7. Effort will be made on a first-come basis for teams who have purchased tickets to have their Saturday game(s) scheduled earlier in the day.
Ordered tickets will be distributed to team reps at the check-in on Thursday at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel at 1224 Upper James St. (on the mountain just south of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway). Any unsold tickets will be available at this time on a first-come first-served basis, cash only.

*INFORMATION FOR “25th ANNIVERSARY SOUVENIR PROGRAM
IN MEMORIUM INFORMATION:
While we are in Hamilton celebrating 25 years of playing baseball and reconnecting with opponents we have met, let us not forget those teammates whom we have lost over those years. Please help us all remember by providing the names of those we have passed on.
The lone criterion is that the member played on your team in one of our national tournaments over the past 24 years. Please include the team name.
Please send information to Phil by JUNE 15
TEAM ROSTERS:
Please provide a team roster, hopefully with uniform numbers included. Please follow the instructions to accommodate the space layout for the program.
Sample: TEAM NAME
1 5 9 13
2 6 10 14
3 7 11 15
4 8 12 16
Record the names using four vertical columns. The sample is for 16 players. The fourth
column will accommodate teams with 13-16 players. For 16-20, see below:
1 6 11 16
2 7 12 17
3 8 13 18
4 9 14 19
5 10 15 20
Please send information to Phil by JUNE 15
TEAM HISTORY INFORMATION:
Leave only one line after the team roster and tell a brief history of your team. Emphasize the team not the individual players. Reference to 2-3 team members is acceptable, perhaps more for their significant contributions to the team than their play.
Limit the history to nine lines for 16 or fewer players and eight lines for 17 or more players.
If you have more than one team in the tournament, your options are:
- make the team history one longer story spread over the number of teams you have. Program
order will deal with 35+ first, followed by 43+ , etc. Reduce one line from the first section
and use it to start the second section. NOTE; This should be two sentences, not a continuous
flow.
Where your last line was, make a reference to the second section; “History” continued with
(name of second team). This can be done for any other teams you have. The more team
sections that you have, the more likely more players names will be included.
- have just one short history with your first team, Use one line with other teams to refer back to
that written section
- tell your history using as many teams as you need and then for the remaining teams, reference
back to the other(s).

OPENING CEREMONIES:
The Hamilton Oldtimers' Baseball Organization, in conjunction with our major sponsor, FirstOntario Credit Union, welcomes for the tournament weekend, Canada's only member in the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame, Ferguson Jenkins.
Fergie will be throwing out the first pitch to FirstOntario Credit Union's, Kelly McGiffin.
We would like to invite all teams to join us for the Opening Ceremonies. Unfortunately games also will be starting in some parks at 9:00 a.m. Teams playing later games are encouraged to attend in uniform, at least your sweater.
Fergie will be attending games throughout the weekend.
