THE GOOD, THE BAD and THE UGLY
ATTENTION ALL TEAM “COACHES”
ROSTERS ( with team numbers preferred), TEAM HISTORY, IN MEMORIUMS
Thank you to all of those coaches who have submitted the three above items by the president's generous deadline. That was GOOD. To those who have not e-mailed their rosters and history by this time, that is BAD.
Failure to have these three (where applicable) items in my computer by Thursday (29th), that is
UGLY! Your reserved space in the “25th Anniversary Souvenir Program” will be removed.
For those teams and players who have booked their hotel rooms at the place of their choice for the advertised rates, that is GOOD. For those who have not booked any rooms yet, that is BAD. You have until Friday, June 30 (that is this week) to book hotels from our list on the website at the prices listed.
If you miss this deadline, that will be UGLY. Why, you may say? First you will lose the special rates and find the rooms are more expensive. Even worse, you may not find any accommodations anywhere nearby, because the 100+ Slo-Pitch teams, who also have a tournament on our weekend, have already booked up the rest of the rooms in town. That is UGLY! Oh, and it is a long weekend and we are right in the middle between Toronto and Niagara Falls for all the summer tourists.

Tickets for our “25th Anniversary Banquet” are on sale right now, first come, first served. We have a limit of 330 tickets available for $35 each. You may e-mail your order to me with the number of tickets you need and follow it up with a cheque in the mail to me (Phil) at 209-975 Warwick Court, Burlington, ON., L7T 3Z7. The deadline for this order is Friday, July 7. That would be GOOD.
In addition to a family style dinner, you will be spending the evening with Canada's only member in the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame, pitcher Ferguson Jenkins. Check out his career. Missing that opportunity because you were too late ordering your tickets, that would be BAD.
Missing out on a silent auction, featuring about a dozen Major League Baseball items, some just might be autographed, that would be UGLY! There will be other items available also. Do not miss it. Sorry there will be no time for dancing.
