After being crowned district and regional champions, The Hickory HAWKS finished a fantastic season, with a second place finish in the State Tournament, only 4.5 points behind Matoaca.   It was a great team effort, as is the norm for the HAWKS!!! 

And an historic event, we had two, 2X State Champs, Connor Wallace at 132, and Anthony Amendolare at 138, who both finished their high school seasons with wins by PIN! Incredible!!

Our other finishers, who all came through consolations with third place, were Lucas Brunelle, at 120; Caleb Corbett, at 145, and Nick Tibbetts at 152. Eric Gamboni finished 4th at 182, keeping the HAWKS in the team fight.

HAWK Nation showed up - by far the largest and loudest crowd there - what a great HAWK family we have!

Thank you to our coaches, Coach Ben Summerlin, Coach Dennis Whitby, and Coach Keely, for your tireless work and support.  They led us there, following the work of Coaches Chad Filson and Mike Gillis, at Hickory Middle School.  Without all of them, this would not happen.
