2019 OYSA ALL-STAR INFORMATION

We hope you are enjoying a fantastic season of OYSA softball. Now that the season is well underway, the 2019 summer All-Star season is fast approaching. As such, we would like to provide some important information for those who may be considering having their daughter participate in the 2019 All-Star season. It is very important that prior to accepting an All-Star position, parents are informed about the commitment that is required from both player and family to participate in the All-Star season. Participation requires an extensive time and financial commitment from the parents, as well as a tremendous amount of hard work and perseverance from the All- Star players. Being selected to participate on the All-Star team is a great achievement for the players and is a fantastic opportunity to become an even more accomplished fast-pitch player while having a great time with family, friends, and teammates. The commitment that is required cannot be overstressed. Please carefully review the “What It Takes to be a 2019 OYSA All-Star” information sheet. If you feel that you cannot make the high level of commitment that is required, please do not submit the signed form and required items.

Please understand that the submission of the signed contract and required items does NOT guarantee your daughter a spot on any of the All- Star teams. The submission of these items simply implies that you are authorizing your daughter to play in All-Stars if selected to an All-Star team.
