The Maryland Dodgers advanced to the Maryland State Finals after the Maryland Monsters decided not to take the Susquehanna League's bid.  The Dodgers had finished second in the Susquehanna League and had advanced to the championship of the league before the championship series was cancelled.  The Dodgers won in the first two rounds of the state tournament to advance to the championship.  In the championship, the Dodgers lost a close game to the Cumberland Orioles to finish second in the state.
