TIMMY CASSESE, BATTING 1.000 SEMINOLES

Timmy Cassese (NYIT) takes home the Player of the Week Award.  Cassese went 5 for 11 during the week with 2 doubles, 1 home run, 4 RBI, 5 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

CHRISTOPHER WIERCINSKI, BATTING 1.000 SEMINOLES

Christopher Wiercinski (Molloy College) takes home the Pitcher of the Week Award for the second week in a row.  The Molloy College sophomore tossed 6.2 scoreless innings defeating the Redbirds on Saturday.  Wiercinski struck out eight while scattering 2 hits in the victory.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:

RICH GENNARO, LONG ISLAND ASTROS

Rich Gennaro (Molloy College) receives the Rookie of the Week Award.  The incoming freshman pitcher tossed 7 innings during the week against the Diamond Spikes and Titans Gold scattering 2 hits and striking out 10.
