The #6 Westview boys soccer team travelled to take on #2 San Marcos in the semifinals of the CIF Division 1 playoffs. The half found both teams knotted in 0-0 battle.  Early in the 2nd half Izzy broke away in the midfield to thread a beautiful pass to Enzo who maintain his composure to slot the ball in the back of the net just pass the Knights keeper.  The game played out back and forth down the field with the Wolverines victorious 1-0 at the final whistle.  Some spectacular saves late in the game were made by the Wolverine goalie, Patrick.

In the other D1 semifinal game, #4 Poway pulled out a 1-0 win against the top seeded San Pasqual Eagles.

The CIF Division 1 Championship game will be #6 Westview vs #4 Poway as they meet up for the third time this season.  Both teams representing a strong Palomar league conference.

Congratulations to the Westview Wolverines boys soccer team on the their run in post-season play.  Now let's do this and bring home CIF Championship trophy and title!!!
