Greater Washington 4th of July Tournament

Intramural Division
The Intramural Tournament starts Wednesday, June 22nd to Sunday, June 26th for teams that form at the end of a season from intramural or recreational league teams or Sunday only teams. Please email tournament@rbba.org for further information.
Travel Division (USSSA Sanctioned)
The Travel Tournament is Thursday June 30th to Monday, July 4th for teams that play together all year in travel or select leagues. Only local teams will play on Thursday or Friday evening; the rest of the teams will play on the weekend and Monday, July 4th.
This year's travel division tournament is USSSA sanctioned which means teams can earn state, regional, and national ranking points based on strength of schedule and tournament performance. Teams must register with USSSA and they will receive a USSSA web page so they may highlight their team, their players, keep track of progress, and gain exposure for their baseball program. Annual registration is normally $55 per season but if you email Bob Holland at bob.holland@usssa.com with your team information he will register your team for $25. This fee allows you to play in other USSSA sanctioned events throughout the baseball season. Many travel teams have already registered for the 2016 season so there is no need to register twice if you have already done so.
Our goal is to host a tournament that is competitive for both average and elite teams. If we get enough interest we will have two divisions: Major/AAA (elite) and AA/A (average).
