Northern State Pkwy E to exit 42N --OR-- Long Island Expressway to exit 51, Deer Park Ave./Rt 231. Proceed north on Deer Park Ave. At intersection immediately north of Dix Hills Fire House (north side of Northern State Pkwy) bear right onto Deer Park Road East/CR 66. Proceed to end of Deer Park Road East at Jericho Turnpike/Rt 25. Proceed east on Jericho Turnpike, immediately getting into left turn lane. Make left turn onto Elwood Road/CR 10. Turn is less than 1/4 mile from Deer Park Rd/Jericho Tpke intersection (Blockbuster Video is on the NE corner). Proceed north on Elwood Road, past Elwood High School and past Northport High School, to Fort Salonga Road/Rt 25A (storage facility on SE corner). Proceed north through intersection. Road changes name to Reservoir Avenue. Bear left at intersection with Church Street (end of Reservoir Ave). Proceed north on Church Street to intersection with Main Street (churches on SW and SE corners). Proceed north through intersection. Road changes name to Ocean Avenue. Proceed approximately 1/4 mile to Dogwood Road. Make a right onto Dogwood Road, and Ocean Avenue School is on the left.
