The 99 D-Bat softball team is a group of softball players from many areas of the Metroplex. The team practices at Bob Jones Park in Southlake, usually a couple of times a week. The main focus of the team is the development of both the physical and mental aspects of softball, as well as learning to play the game successfully against quality competition. D-Bat looks to be a force in the softball world for years to come, and the 99 team is the building block for that future success. Our young ladies overcame heat and adversity, and relied on great pitching and defense, along with some timely hitting to finish in 3rd place in the North Richland Hills School Winding Down Tournament. Pictures and scores to follow soon. Way to go, ladies!
