- NEW SUMMER SPEED AND AGILITY TRAINING PROGRAM
Welcome to the home of the
AAU Iowa Football Club
Due to inclement weather and field condition concerns, our May 18th tryout had to be cancelled. For those that were registered, you do not have to re-register for the June 8th or July 20th dates. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the new date you will be attending with your athletes name. If neither of the remaining dates work, please email the above address, call or text 563-320-0002 ASAP to schedule a separate tryout date. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience of the cancellation but we do not want to have participants inured or equipment ruined due to extremely wet conditions. We look forward to seeing everyone in June or July!
2019 Eastern Iowa Elite Football
As we approach our 2019 season we would like to reach out to a number of coaches, players and potential athletes to provide a better understanding of our organization and what our focus and goals are for the 2019 season. Our mission statement is clear and describes our purpose, “Provide an exceptional football experience for student athletes from the Quad Cities and surrounding areas through coaching and skills development that will focus on their team participation, self-confidence, athletic ability, sportsmanship, responsibility, discipline, and leadership.”
Our plan for the 2019 season is to provide training for all athletes interested in improving their speed and agility skills with emphasis on football related positions. We will be holding approximately 10 sessions (weather permitting) that will focus on helping these athletes improve their speed and agility from a structured program that each participant will be able to use at any time. As with our 2018 season, we will be holding tryouts during the summer of 2019 on May 18th, June 8th and July 20th from 1-3pm at Bettendorf Middle School to help with selection of our 7th and 8th grade teams who will travel and compete in a minimum of 3 tournaments in the Midwest starting in October and ending in late November.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for athletes who have a passion for football and a drive to improve their own skills and compete against the best. Based off of the tryout results, we will form a 7th and 8th grade team of the most talented student athletes from the Quad Cities. Athletes with a willingness to strive for both academic and athletic excellence will then have the opportunity to play against competition from many different states as we travel throughout the Midwest. Our athletes will still be able to fully participate in their regular school based football season and will not be asked to choose between our program and their school program. We are committed to improving the athletic ability of each of our participants and require that not only the athletes make these same commitments but their parents do as well.
Who are we? Our coaches are dedicated to improving each and every athlete in a number of areas. Many of our coaches have 5-10 years of experience of coaching on a number of youth levels and various organizations. A number of our coaches do not have their own children in this program or may have had their child in our 1st year. They trust in the process and goals we have set forth as an organization and believe that we can establish a very successful team from Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.
Please contact Steve Rodgers at 563-320-0002 or at email@example.com with additional questions or concerns that you may have.
