I always tell you that there is never a dull moment here and yesterday proved that if you slip up even for the littlest minute your world can change dramatically. Panthers continued their dominance yesterday by sweeping Los Enemigos while Bad Intentionz got knocked out in both games by Knockouts. Legion captured their first win of the season coming from behind in the last inning while Da Pack regrouped and swept HIt squad. With the Saturday playoffs beginning in 2 weeks let's look at the current main and wild card potential standings as teams need to step up or face an eerie situation in the first round

So as you can see the top 8 teams have already qualified for the main playoff brackets as I promised you in the beginning tthe hat everyone would know where they are regardless of possible situations but remember with 2 weeks left and these upcoming games could change the landscape to come : 

Legacy (7-9) vs Los Enemigos (7-13) as both teams have seen their fortunes reversed as they both now have to find a way to climb out of the situation they are both currently in. 

Most runs scored favors Los Enemiogs whose scored 119 while Legacy has scored 108

Least runs scored favors Legacy whose given up 123 while Los Enemiogs have given up 147

Panthers (21-1) vs Knockouts (14-6) will be the 2nd time these 2 teams have met this season with the Panthers sweeping their first encounter. Knockouts have been on an impressive streak as of late but the Panthers have not cooled down either so this war come Saturday is personal.

Most runs scored favors the Panthers whose scored a whopping 254 while Knockouts have scored 180 in their own right

Least runs scored favors the Panthers whose given up 74 runs while Knockouts have given up 118

Hit squad (8-14) vs Legion (1-19) is one of those games that you have to root for the underdogs because no one gave them a chance and the shocked the system yesterday getting their first win of the season while Hit squad needs to elevate their game and get out of the 8th seed spot. Now this series has interesting parts because it's now a 4 game set and the whispers behind the scener are saying Hit squad is looking to win all 4 games. When you have nothing to lose anything is possible. I would keep an eye on this series just because 

Most runs scored favors Hit squad whose scored 140 while Legion has scored 46

Least runs scored favors Hit squad whose given up 159 while Legion has given up 227

Shockers (15-3) vs Da Pack (12-8) is a must see game for the ages as the rain delayed this meeting and now it comes full circle next week at St Johns park. This game means alot for both teams as either wants a sweep of the other or at the very least a split. 

Most runs scored favors the Shockers whose scored 202 while Da Pack has scored 147

Least runs scored favors the Shockers whose given up 76 runs while Da Pack has given up 133

Nowhere to run next week and only the playoff picture can reverse itself after weeks of rain delays and such. Whichever team your rooting for know the playoffs are about to be sizzling ! 

Striving to be the best you can be is what we are inspiring all players to become in our beloved softball league. What you see is hard work behind the scenes as we showcase what could be if you put the effort in which is to be recognized by your fellow peers. Da Pack players Pooch is rocking the official Warriors club shirt while fellow player Jay is rocking the M.V.P shirt for his performance in the weeknight division in BBSL and fellow player James who joined the team this season as he rocks his Most at Bats club shirt. 

We caught up with veteran pitcher Ron Darby who stopped by and ran into fellow alumni player now umpire Tykie. We also have gone away from the traditional umpiring shirts as we gave the umpires a players touch as we want to be different from everyone else. 

Hit squad is in a brutal situation next Saturdays as they will now have to face a hungry Legion team looking to make some more noise this season. 

We aim to be different because we want to be different. We are not here to shame anyone other than we are offering you an option. No A, B , C divisions. Just bring your team and see who wants the smoke at the end of the day ! 

We have come a long way and we boast 3 starting pitchers who can pitch on any team. Saturdays continues to grow and we want those who want to run with Da Pack. All challengers are welcome if you dare ! 

There is always hope no matter who you are. Players step up all the time and even some managers cross the wire as they insprie their players to be better than yesterday. Kudos to Hit squad mgr Amr who plays hard week in and week out. 

Remember nothing is ever over until it's over. As long as time is a factor make the most of it. 

The pitchers have 2 clubs to join which is most innings pitched and most wins durng the regular season. They have their own combative efforts going on over here. 

This will be the next hype club to be apart of which is Most At Bats. Some people look at things in a way that we as a league feel that even by showing up you can make a difference and it boosts team morale knowing your brothers are at every game week in and week out. 

Me and brother Ron got a chance to catch up and show why we have been brothers for more than 30 years. Never let memories die my friend ! 

There's always going to be a vision of things to come and how does 1 move forward. I always look on the outside and things just click because I see a different future than the ones already established. Yes we all want to win championships and sometimes the playing field is not level but it's up to us to make it happen. Welcome to our players league designed and set for the future. Soon we open the doors for COED and modified divisions

The wild card championship series begins in 3 weeks. Now we have taken the consolation championship and elevated it to another level never seen before. We use to play for a trohpy and now it has evolved into hoodies and next season in the fall we are adding regular softballs provided for the regular season only. Nothing will be stale here and remember whether you play in the main tier or the wild card tier champions will be crowned. 

Sundays has their own wars going on and in the midst of all things you never know what to expect. 

More umpires will be needed for future events. Let's see whose out there that can add to what we wish to continue building 

We are not done and there are a few teams we would like to ask to join our upcoming fall Saturday season. We will start with the Polar Bears and see what else develops from there. 

New ideas keeps the creative team going and tis crossover shirt which highlights both Saturday and Sunday is a keeper. They will be out by next month so let's get the engines going. We are also looking to do a min season for teams looking to join our Saturday division for the fall which also helps you get an earlier start and preparation of things to come. Mini season fees are $ 300 per team plus weekly ump fees and everyone makes the playoffs regardless of record so if you want a challenge and especially if your building a new team let us know.
