Weeknight Wars begins May 28th as we plan to usher in a new era of games as the season will be 7 weeks meaning a total of 14 games for the season with all games starting at 6:30 pm between Thursday and Friday nights under the lights at both Queensbridge park and Haggerty park. All teams will make the playoffs regardless of record we aim to determine different brackets which can be built upon in order to determine competitive skill levels and with no regards to skill level as your record determines where you end up in the following season and subject to change should more teams decide to join. We are not a cash prize league as the entry fee is very reasonable and we are playing for hoodies and a free pass into the following season. All managers are to turn their stats in on a weekly basis as we monitor both the hitters and the pitchers in terms of potential awards to be given out at seasons end. Our playoff bracket is very simple as all the teams will compete for the hoodies with the breakdown in the playoffs as follows :

• 1 vs 8
• 2 vs 7
• 3 vs 6
• 4 vs 5 

Ump fees are $ 100 per team as softballs are provided by the league which eliminates any headaches of managers searching for softballs. In the first round of the playoffs there will only be 1 umpire assigned. When we reach the final 4 teams there will be 2 umpires assigned. All things will be outlined and given so no headaches will occur during the regular season. All teams wishing to join can pay in full or need at least $ 375 by next week to have your name placed on the schedule with all remaining balances paid by week 1 of the season as we do not wish to chase teams for money and etc. Rosters are limited to 14 players and teams can bat a maximum of 12 players if they so desire to.

We do not do 15  week season as we try to maximize all efforts to keep things affordable and if we do this correctly teams have a choice if they wish to play the following season or wait for the next season to come around because we know players like to plan vacations and trips and no one wants to be tied down also looking for players. Players must be here in terms of accountability for 4 weeks worth of games in order to qualify for post season and championship series games. We provide official scorebooks for the managers as well which has stat sheets and game day stat sheets which will help you turn the stats in so we can keep an accurate count of who will receive awards based upon their performances. We also note that all fees to join go towards permits and league insurance and all prizes to be awarded at seasons end. There will be hidden surprises for the players which will be announced as we get closer and closer to opening day. 

With season 1 already posted and if all things work itself out we will begin season 2 in August with an agenda of at least expanding to 9 weeks maximum thus insuring we are not playing in the cold either and home and resting with the family on holiday events 

Players you will make the difference on how we are perceived from now and future games. All teams must have uniforms in season 1 as we stroingly urge complete uniforms as we know appearances means everything. We are working on sponsorships from different organizations and we are aiming for more bragging rights towards all champions meaning both division and league champions. Prepare for the unknown

We will be having another new website in the near future whcih will be more geared to the atmosphere that I'm creating. Get ready teams because the Phoenix Rising division starts with you and if all goes well and we are able to create another division be on the lookout for Rampage and if that goes down you will see how the teams will be divided in order to keep stability growing and keeping everyone happy at all times 

It was a good day despite it being a little chilly for the most part but we had a good day as we battled the DIABLOS for the 1st time. We lost a tough game in the final inning by the score of 14-13 as the DIABLOS rallied in the 7th inning to stun SMOKE at Cunningham park

This is the way you battle despite the outcome. Give it your all and who knows. Smoke was down 12-4 and rallied to take the lead 13-12 going into the final inning

Players play because they want the smoke. It could be lob and it could be modified. Either way give it your all and everything else will fall into place 

Players want the smoke. Some more than others. If you continue to put in the work eventually all things will come full circle 

Catchers play a vital part of your team. Especially when they know what to do when all things come full circle 

Frustrations will sink in when you know that you should have done more. Remember it's a team thing before it becomes a you thing 

The good thing about softball whether you win or lose is there is always tomorrow

The Players softball lounge quest begins shortly as we mentioned before we will be a mixture of lob and modified with mini seasons as compared to long seasons meaning 15 weeks at a more reasonable rate as we have seen prices to play softball sky-rocket like never before. We will only play for cash when it pertains to our holiday tournaments as those will be either a single day event or a weekend event. All mini seasons will be for assorted awards and hoodies at seasons end but we will keep our tradition going where the league champions get into the following season for free as we aim to keep things as fresh as possible

We will have a more elaborate plan when it comes to games being played as we do keep stats here so that the players will see what is going on but a majority of all the stats will be kept on our other website at www.ballschart.com/allelitesoftball . We are looking for higher ground today as Smoke prepares for the Diablos at Cunningham park at 9 am as we start our new mission back in the OLD LIONS SOFTBALL LEAGUE. The Players Softball Lounge begins a new journey as we once again become trendsetters for the future in terms of how leagues are conceived and in demand as prices have sky-rocketed and players are looking for a change in a democratic way that makes sense

How do we become number 1 as the competitive nature inside all of which wants to be the very best we can be. More prizes to be awarded and changing the landscape in terms of competition on a seasonal basis 

We are adding pieces to the puzzle in which we look to insure both Saturday and Sunday and weeknight divisions under the lights have more meaning than ever before. We will be posting more pictures in the coming weeks as the Players Softball Lounge takes off in a new direction 

Memorial Day weekend tournament will be a feature of dual roles as one will be lob and the other will be modified. 8 teams we are looking to lock in with a chance to win a cool $ 1400 for the weekend. May 23rd the madness begins and May 24th a new tournament champion or maybe a repeating champion will be crowned. Let's see how this plays itself out

We think about things to come because we bring the heat upon ourselves to insure we can be the best we can be at all times. It;s not to say that we are not a league but we are a mixture of things to come. Unravel the past to insure a new future is being built upon for many to see and be with 

There's always a strong chance that anything is possible in the softball community where alliances are brought together for a common ground. Nothing is ever promised and nothing is ever gained without trying

All we know is we have a weekend of ideas to be brought to the front page.

The battle lines are about to be drawn between both males and females but we are united in a coed fashion in which we agree to play in order to be better for tomorrow
