Happy Friday to one and all as I will be back tomorrow to lay more groundwork for things to come as well as going over some crucial games this weekend in other leagues and adding more photos as we hope the rain subsides and gives us some fresh sun as we here at the Players Softball Lounge continues to spread love and again as always we wish everyone a safe and happy weekend and good luck to all those teams regardless of which league you play in the best for future seasons to come 

Happy Thursday to one and all as I see the rain is preparing to come down once again. We are awauiting our insurance papers to come in so that we can apply for more fields for the coming fall season starting both Aug 22nd and Aug 23rd. We noted that the Saturday Leopards Den will be for the lob pitch teams and the Sunday Phoenix Rising will be for the modified teams as we want to develop something nice and interesting for all involved.The hitters and the pitchers are noting that we are doing something special and since we have opened the doors for a possible 10 team atmosphere (140 players) the bar will be raised to another level because we are looking at the 1st 50 players (Top Prospects) and the remaining 50 players (Next Top Prospect) as a blue print for things to come and hopefully we can get on track by having an all-star game by 2027. There are many awards to achieve just alone and now that we have added a brand new look managers shirt to the cause we aiming for more and more higher things to come out. As I did announce before we do have a new website and once we start receiving deposits for the upcoming season we shall share it with the managers so they can start getting their respected teams ready as we need full rosters which include first and last names along with jersey numbers and eventually we will have the pictures to showcase so that everyweek players know where they stand.

• Warriors Club = 25 hits and better 
• Runs Scored / Runs Batted In = 25 and better 
• Player of the week honors = 1 player from each team will be acknowledged with the best overall stats for the day 
• Diamond club (pitchers only) = 5 wins and better 
• Workhorse Club (pitchers only) = 40 innings and better 

Main tier pool 

• top 8 team make the main tier playoffs / champions wins hoodies & free pass into the summer 2027 season with softballs provided for the regular season only

Wild Card pool 

• remaining 2 teams compete for championship shirts + $ 200 discount off the summer 2027 season

All things have levels and we aim to push them into the next level atmosphere and we begin with the Player of the week honors agenda :

• 1st time nomination gets you recognized with a surprise at the end of the season / 3 time acknowledgements will get you an official shirt (Rampage) as we will begin to see the rise in what you are doing on a weekly basis / 5 time acknowledgement will get you the ultimate prize (Beast) as we will show you praise like never before

We will be working on 2 type of divisions no matter whether you play Saturdays or Sundays and that will be a top tier and a middle tier. There will be nothing below those lines. We are also working on how long the season shall be in which 1 format proposes 2 different seasons involving 9 week schedules which opens up flexibility especially for teams who like to plan vacations or holiday events with families thus reducing the long cost of a drawn out season and also gives teams flexibility towards rebuilding if need be. We aim to get back to the tournament circuit and some may involve cash payouts but that is far the bridge to be crossed now. For now we are looking at lowering the entry fee to a reasonable amount and even though we aim to be giving out hoodies trust me there is more on the line than you know.

Happy Wednesday to one and all as we have made some strives towards the managers side of insuring they get some love for their hard work that they put in. So the manager who finishes in 1st place will have his own recognition and we still have more things to add in the coming week as we wish to begin our journey in August

Another weekend is upon us and we shall see what will develop this weekend as softball atmoshere continues and we are hoping to see more and more quality games to be apart of

Another tournament is on the horizon and we shall see what develops as we head into Saturday with hope of new beginnings 

With the tournament safely locked away until next year as we expect a bigger turn out but for now we are adjusting our watches to get ready for the upcoming playoffs and end of the regular season games in various leagues. We are working to bring our league back to a more player friendly atmosphere and with a new home on the horizons we will cross into the abyss of the unknown shortly

We take this time to remember that we should enjoy life one day at a time and remember there are more wars to be fought in softball

More players have emerged and we aim to put the spotlight on them in the coming weeks because they are apart of the next generation to hold us down 

We will hold our own and as the landscape continues to build towards a better tomorrow so shall we strive to make sure all of our awards are there for the taking 

So put the word out that the PLAYERS SOFTBALL LOUNGE has many doors but which door you open will surprise you

We came to pay respect to David " Dyke " McBride yesterday in honorable fashion as 6 teams went to war and everyone had the buzz of having a good time and remembering who he was. Tournament was put together by Eric Wyche and Gotti and respoected family members who showed up to watch the games go on because they knew that is what he always wanted. Kudos to Seahawks Mgr Victor who lead the Seahawks to an impressive undefeated run including becoming the 1st ever tournament champions. If this much action was given today wait till the tournament of 2027 comes around

Chacho from THSB was there doing his thing at St John's park. 

Ghost represented as he was playing wiith the Warriorz in the tournament as they provided much needed action showing if they get back together again for the upcoming fall they would still be a threat 

I watched in awe and I also got a chance to watch some good games go down and I tell you the Panthers vs Seahawks was a war for the ages as those leads traded hands several times 

Tournament was run by Eric who was on site lending a hand and opinions when needed. Way to go sir ! 

Enemigos player Lulu showed up to help the Warriorz out on Saturday

THSB had ball players Cesar and Melvin out there in the heat as they tried to put together the pieces on winning some games today 

We all want to do something special and that feeling should never be lost. Tomorrow new wars will emerge !

What can I say as the tributes poured in and we remember the wars that he was always apartof which will never be forgotten

Don't blink or you will miss something. 

Softball takes us to many places but it's our get away for the week as we need to relax and unwind from all events in our lives

Battle lines are always drawn because some one has to win and someone has to lose

There was a lot of hitters out there and some shots that cleared the fence yesterday and players surprised me 

You come to play. That is the difference. 

Yeah I was shocked to along with Smokeout from the Seahawks. You give it your all !

If you believe it you can achieve it ! 

Yes it was a grueling 8 hours in the heat but hey we all had fun

Players uniting for a good cause fills my heart with joy. More tournaments to come ! 

I don't know all these faces but rest assured I will be keeping my eye out for them in the near future
