Bayou Bantam Football League Leadership Transition

The Bayou Bantam Football League (BBFL) extends its sincere gratitude to Wayne Tabor, who has officially stepped down from his role as President after more than a decade of dedicated service. Wayne’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping BBFL into the strong, community-centered organization it is today. His commitment to our youth, coaches, and families has left a lasting legacy, and we thank him for his many years of service.

We are pleased to announce that Lance Ledet has been appointed as the new President of BBFL. Lance brings with him seven years of experience as President of the Thibodaux Vikings and a deep passion for youth football and community engagement. We are confident that under his leadership, BBFL will continue to grow and thrive.

If interested in registering your child for football or cheer, please contact your appropriate franchises for more info. ALL NEW REGISTRATIONS WILL BEGIN IN MAY of the given year. All participants must play in their residing school district. Season runs from July  through November , games start in mid September. (Some franchises may start as early as January) REGISTER EARLY!

***2024 boundary change: Shannon Canal to HWY 308 in Lafourche Parish, players may choose to register in Thibodaux or Chackbay, once your team is selected you are expected to remain with that franchise.
