Why Play Travel Baseball

We would urge any kid no matter what their passion is to do it to the best of your ability.  It may not be baseball.  It may be another sport, or the arts, or anything that intrigues you.  Chase it as far as you can.

Travel baseball is a commitment - not only to yourself, but to your teammates, your family and your program.  Leave it all on the field.

Our philosophy is no Club baseball before 10U.  We may have a couple of players who are 9, but our teams start as 10.  Playing up - (12U to 13U, etc.) is not something we condone.

But a good rule of thumb is to work backwards, If you are in the 8th Grade you should play 14U. 7th Grade 13U, etc.  There is no right or wrong or absolute.  We would prefer a player uses every inning he can through League Age 12.  We can speed the curve from 13-14, but we cannot speed the foundation.  Anyone who tells you they can ...well...caveat emptor.
