Now Registering for FALL BALL 2018

Brockton Blazers Softball League is pleased to announce Fall Softball, an instructional league that is low stress and lots of fun for players and families. Girls will learn the fundamentals of softball and the joy of teamwork.

Details: the 5-week fall season consists of weekday practices at the Raymond School and double-headers on Sundays at the O’Donnell Middle School in Stoughton.  Players will also be able to take part in Saturday skills clinics at the Raymond.  The season kicks off after Labor Day and runs through the first week of October, with a culminating tournament-style playoff.  The goal of this league is for girls to play different positions and have fun. There are no try-outs.

Hey Blazers,

It's cold outside, so it's time to take it inside for winter clinics!

Winter clinics are for girls under 12, and geared to working on basic skills - throwing, catching, fielding, hitting. We are lucky enough to have Brockton HS softball coach Katie Balboni once again teaching our girls. Clinics will take place every Tuesday from 6:30 - 7:30pm at the Baker School in Brockton. Clinics start TUESDAY, 1/16, and run for six weeks, with the last clinic on Tuesday, 2/27. Cost is only $60.

Advance registration is not required for the winter clinics. Just come on Tuesday, 1/16 and we will register all attendees starting at 6pm.

Congratulations for a great Summer Season!

BYSL had three teams in action this summer - U10, U12 and U14.

Thank you to everyone who participated.

Our 10's learned a lot of skills that will help them become the Blazers of the future but fell just short of making the playoffs. Thank you to coaches Rob Delano and Nicole Fannoney.

Our 12's, under the leadership of Bill Bertocchi, made it all of the way to the championship game, falling JUST short of the win. Not too shabby, girls. Way to represent Brockton well!

Our 14's also made it into the play-offs, finishing as the third seed in the division, and losing by ONE run to Hanover in the semi-finals. Thank you to coach Cheryl Green. The girls had fun and played well as a team.

We are proud of all our girls!
