In the past month has there has been a lot good stories that we wanted to share about some former Tigers.

Jordan Murphy (Univ. of Minnesota) has become the all-time leading rebounder in Minnesota basketball history. Jordan is a great kid and has always been a hard worker. Well deserved young man, what a Great accomplishment! Keep up the good work!

Braylon Sugg (Hutto) and Coreyon Chester (Manor) both completed the high school football season with 2nd Team All District Defensive honors. Great work young men! In addition to his athletic honors, the senior Coreyon Chester is earning all Academic honors as he is currently in the top 5% of his class with a 3.9 GPA. Well done young men. Prayer, preparation and hard work are paying off!

Jaylen Shead (Texas State) has played a big part in his team having one of the best starts in their history. This included hitting the game winning free throws in a game against UTSA. Keep grindin’ trey-five!

Carlos Chester Jr (Langston Univ.) inked his name in school history as his team won back to back conference titles and yet another playoff berth.

Jamal Shead (Manor HS) had a successful summer campaign raising his state player ranking. He has also been a big part of the early season success and recently had a productive game.

Lawrence Hill II (Victor Valley College) is one of the first Tigers to play both football and basketball in the same season at the collegiate level. We wish him the very best during the remainder of the season. Maintain focus and continue the hard work!

Tony Swain (Sam Houston Univ) has started a career in sports broadcasting by announcing at the university basketball games. He is hard at work at his undergrad but definitely taking a right step to creating a successful career. Great job Tone!

Blessings to these young men and we pray for your continued success. There will be more updates as there are many Tigers are doing great things.
