Malakoff, Eustace, and Kemp would like to welcome you to Cedar Creek Baseball Softball Association

Our goal is to teach the youth around Cedar Creek responsibility, teamwork, and sportsmanship through baseball and softball. 


    

2024 Cedar Creek Baseball Rules - BOYS
6u Boys Modified Tball Rules: Game can be played with 7 players, You DO NOT have to take an out if you have only 7 or 8 players.
Time limit = 60 mins, Innings = 5, Pitching Rubber = 40ft, Runs per half inning = 7,  Bases = 60ft. 
Pitching circle = 12ft diameter circle, 12' arc from back of home plate, Halfway marks between 2nd, 3rd, and home.
On offense 1 pitching coach,1 batting coach, 1 coach at 1st, and 1 at 3rd - on defense 2 coaches in outfield grass, can not interfere with player-Penalty=removal from the game.
Coach gets 3 pitches, then batter gets 2 swings off the tee. Coach pitcher must be inside circle. Batter hitting off a tee can only advance to 2nd base at most, but if hitting off coach pitch batter has potential for homerun. 
Player pitcher must stay even with or behind the rubber untill ball is hit.
Only 3 practice swings on tee, fourth practice swing shall be called a strike. 1 team warning for throwing the bat, batters called out for next occurrence.
If base runner leaves base before ball is hit fairly, base runner is out (delayed dead ball). If ball is not hit fairly, base runner can return to previous base.
Catcher requires batting helmet with mask, Pitcher is required to wear a mask. Play is stopped by returning ball to the circle or by preventing the lead runner from advancing.wi
Infield players must remain behind the halfway marks, Pitcher must stay even with or behind rubber (inside the circle), and outfielders must stay
in the outfield grass until ball is hit. Penalty = dead ball, batter is awarded 1st base.
Fielder must throw the ball to have a chance to be awarded an out unless the ball is fielded near the base runner or base, this is a judgment call by the umpire. (delayed dead ball)
If the ball is fielded in within the 12 ft arc before the ball has come to a stop then the batter is awarded 1st base.
10 players are allowed in the field (4 outfielders), No infield fly rule, No intentional walks, no stealing.
3 inning = complete game, Run rule=15 after 3, 10 after 4, Charged conferences (D) = 3 per game, Charged conferences (O) = 1 per inning, Game CAN end in tie.
8u Boys Coach Pitch Rules: Game can be played with 7 players.
Time limit = 75 mins, Innings = 6, Pitching Rubber = 46ft, Runs per half inning = 7, Bases = 60ft,
Pitching coach must pitch from inside circle. 
The batter will receive 5 pitches or 3 swinging strikes, wichever comes first. Each pitch will count as one of the five even if the batter does not swing. If the fifth pitch is hit foul the batter will remain at bat as long as they continue to foul off pitches. 
There shall be no Base on Balls (walks) awarded. Batters hit by pitch will NOT be awarded 1st base.
Pitching coach must make an attempt to get out of fiels of play.
Catcher is required to wear a mask.  Pitcher is required to wear a mask. Play is stopped by returning ball to the circle or by preventing the lead runner from advancing.
Player pitcher must stay even with or behind rubber and outfielders must stay
in the outfield grass until ball is hit. Penalty = dead ball, batter is awarded 1st base.

3 inning = complete game, Run rule=15 after 3, 10 after 4, Charged conferences (D) = 3 per game, Charged conferences (O) = 1 per inning, Game CAN end in tie.
10u Boys Rules: Game can be played with 7 players,
Time limit = 75 mins, Innings = 6, Pitching Rubber = 46ft, Runs per half inning = 7,  Bases = 65ft,
Cannot leave the base until the ball crosses home plate. NO DROP 3RD STRIKE.
3 inning = complete game, Run rule=15 after 3, 10 after 4, Charged conferences (D) = 3 per game, Charged conferences (O) = 1 per inning, Game CAN end in tie.
Pitch Count Rule 1-40 No Rest 41-75 Finish the batter 48 Hrs Rest
12u Boys Rules: Game can be played with 7 players,
Time limit = 90 mins, Innings = 6, Pitching Rubber = 50ft, Runs per half inning = 7, Bases = 70ft,
3 inning = complete game, Run rule=15 after 3, 10 after 4, Charged conferences (D) = 3 per game, Charged conferences (O) = 1 per inning, Game CAN end in tie.
Pitch Count Rule 1-40 No Rest 41-75 Finish the batter 48 Hrs Rest
14u Boys Rules: Game can be played with 7 players,
Time limit = 90 mins, Innings = 7, Pitching Rubber = 54ft, Runs per half inning = 7,  Bases = 80ft,
3 inning = complete game, Run rule=15 after 3, 10 after 4, Charged conferences (D) = 3 per game, Charged conferences (O) = 1 per inning, Game CAN end in tie.
Pitch Count Rule 1-40 No Rest 41-75 Finish the batter 48 Hrs Rest
2024 Cedar Creek Softball Rules - GIRLS
6u Girls T-ball Rules: Game can be played with 7 players, You DO NOT have to take an out if you have only 7 or 8 players.
Time limit = 60 mins, Innings = 5, Pitching Rubber = 35ft, Runs per half inning = 7,  Bases = 60ft, 11 inch ball.
Pitching circle = 16 ft diameter circle, 10ft arc from back of home plate, Halfway marks between 2nd, 3rd, and home.
On offense 1 coach at home plate,1 coach at 1st and 1 at 3rd - on defense 2 coaches in outfield grass, can not interfere with player (in foul territory) - Penalty=removal from the game
Player can advance on any live ball with the risk of being put out. 
The batter will be allowed 3 swings. If the batter misses the ball it will count as a swing. If the ball goes foul, or the the ball does not go past the 10' arc, this will be considered a swing. If the batter fouls a third strike, the batter will be called out.
Bunting is NOT allowed. The batter will be allowed only 1 practice swing prior to each swing in the batters box. Any excess swings will be called a strike. 1 team warning for throwing the bat, batters called out for next occurrence.
If base runner leaves base before ball is hit fairly, base runner is out (delayed dead ball). If ball is not hit fairly, base runner can return to previous base.
Catcher requires only a mask, Pitcher is required to wear a mask. Play is stopped by preventing the lead runner from advancing. Or ball is returned to the pither in the circle.
Infield players must remain behind the halfway marks, Pitcher must stay on or even with the rubber, and outfielders must stay in the grass untill ball is hit.
Penalty = dead ball, batter is awarded 1st base. NO Stealing.
Fielder must throw the ball to have a chance to be awarded an out unless the ball is fielded near the base runner or base, this is a judgment call by the umpire. (delayed dead ball)
If the ball is fielded in within the 10 ft arc before the ball has come to a stop then the batter is awarded 1st base.

Pitching circle = 16ft diameter circle. Pitching coach must deliver the pitch with one foot in contact with the pitching plate. Player pitcher must stay even with or behind the rubber until ball is pitched.
The batter will receive 5 pitches or 3 swinging strikes, wichever comes first. Each pitch will count as one of the five even if the batter does not swing. If the fifth pitch is hit foul the batter will remain at bat as long as they continue to foul off pitches. 
There shall be no Base on balls (walk) awarded. Hitters hit by pitch will NOT be awarded first base. Pitching coach must  make an attempt to get out of field of play.
NO Bunting, Batter CAN slap hit.
Catcher requires full catching gear, Pitcher is required to wear a mask. Play is stopped by preventing the lead runner from advancing.
Infield players must remain behind the pitching rubber, Pitcher player must stay even with pitching rubber until ball has left the coaches hand, and outfielders must stay in the outfield grass until ball is pitched. Penalty = dead ball, batter is awarded 1st base.
Fielder must throw the ball to have a chance to be awarded an out unless the ball is fielded near the base runner or base or it is a "softball play", this is a judgment call by the umpire. (delayed dead ball)
If base runner leaves base before ball has crossed the plate, base runner is out (dead ball). 
10 players are allowed in the field (4 outfielders), no stealing, no infield fly rule, no dropped 3rd strike rule, no intentional walks
3 inning = complete game, Run rule=15 after 3, 10 after 4, Charged conferences (D) = 3 per game, Charged conferences (O) = 1 per inning, Game CAN end in tie.
10u Girls Rules: Game can be played with 7 players,
Time limit = 75 mins, Innings = 6, Pitching Rubber = 35ft, Runs per half inning = 7, Bases = 60ft, 11 inch ball.
Pitching circle = 16ft diameter circle. Pitcher is required to wear a mask.
If base runner leaves the base before the ball crosses the plate, base runner is out. (dead ball)Runner may advance on any live ball with the chance of being put out.
NO DROP 3RD STRIKE.
3 inning = complete game, Run rule=15 after 3, 10 after 4, Charged conferences (D) = 3 per game, Charged conferences (O) = 1 per inning, Game CAN end in tie.
12u Girls Rules: Game can be played with 7 players,
Time limit = 75 mins, Innings = 7, Pitching Rubber = 40ft, Runs per half inning =  7, Bases = 60ft, 12 inch ball.
Pitching circle = 16ft diameter circle, If base  runner  leaves the base before the ball leaves the pitcher hand, base runner is out. (dead ball)3rd strike drop and infield fly IS in effect. Pitcher is required to wear a mask.
3 inning = complete game, Run rule=15 after 3, 10 after 4, Charged conferences (D) = 3 per game, Charged conferences (O) = 1 per inning, Game CAN end in tie.
