Register starting May 1st for all 2026-27 programs: Youth Football Cheer, Youth Basketball Cheer, or Both.

📣All PreK-8th graders are welcome to participate. (Grade in 2026-27 School Year)

📣8th Grade: "Central Cub Cheerleaders" will Cheer at Central's Cub Boys Football & Girls and Boys Basketball Games & select CLBC events.

📣7th Grade: will Cheer for the Youth Football, CJLB (youth basketball) Programs, and Select Cub Events. 

📣Remind: All important program wide information will be communicated through the "Remind" App!

📣GroupMe: Team information will be communicated through the GroupMe App- please download and watch for info from your team!

📣Uniform: All Participants are provided a Uniform Shell & Skirt, Turtleneck, Bloomers, Poms, Bow, T-Shirt  & Cinch Sac- and they get to keep it all!

MANDATORY SIZING @ Thompkins Tuesday, June 2: 5-7pm or Wednesday, June 3: 4:00-6:00 (Open House Style- come anytime but arrive 15 mins before closing)

📣CLBC Clinic Days: (Week of July 27th) We STRONGLY recommend all participants attend CLBC's Clinic Days to learn cheers, chants, and a dance, watch for details! 

📣CHS Cheer Clinic: All participants will also get to attend a cheer clinic with the Central High School Cheerleaders for Football and Basketball seasons (if registered up for both, or the corresponding CLBC program registered for)  and get to perform during a Central High School Football and/or Basketball game! 

📣Teams: Team assignments will be announced within a few weeks of registration closing, look for an invite from your team's GroupMe.

📣Practices: MOST material will be taught at the clinic days (very important to attend), Practices will start after our clinic in July, possibly twice weekly the first few weeks, then once weekly after the games begin, make sure you are on your team's GroupMe for details. Practices will be weekday evenings . Days and time will depend on the coach’s preference.

The Participation Fee Also Includes:

-TWO: CLBC Cheer Clinics (2 or 3-day events)

-TWO: Central High School Cheerleader Clinics

-Cheering at a Central Varsity Football Game  & Central Varsity Basketball Game

-USI Half-Time Performance

-Parade Events

-5th-8th Grade Participants- EVSC Cheer Expo

For participants registering only for football or only basketball season: They will still receive all listed uniform items but will attend only one CLBC clinic and one CHS clinic. They will also cheer at the varsity game corresponding to their selected season.

Participants cheering during both FHYF (Football) and CJBL (Basketball) seasons, beginning in July and finishing in January. The participation fee breakdown averages out to ONLY approximately $35 per month- for so much! (Payment is in full at registration)

Central Little Bear Cheerleading program aims to provide an affordable cheer program for Central's Youth along with developing each cheerleader mentally, athletically and socially. This program focuses on developing a foundation in cheer through skills and fundamentals at the elementary level.
