For the upcoming 2019 season Team Intensity is also looking to expand our teams by adding a 12U team. We are looking for players ages 10-13. Travel ball experience is not required but preferred. Team Intensity strives to keep a positive environment where its fun to play and yet still learn the mechanics of being a good ball player. We keep the cost of playing travel ball affordable for all participants. We accept low income families and work with them to make sure their cost are minimal. There is enough competition within an hours drive that we rarely have the added expense of hotel rooms and travel expenses. For families that struggle with the reality that travel ball is expensive, we would make a good home for you due to our efforts to keep cost as low as possible. We practice twice a week and play tournaments every other weekend from the end of January through the beginning of November.
We are constantly bringing in special instructors at no charge to the players to help work our players. We are happy to announce we have added Destiny Breeden as a special instructor to Team Intensity. Destiny was a member of the 2015 Class 8A Bartow High School State Championship team. She is currently a second year starter at Polk State College. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and the girls can relate to her experiences on a personal level.
We are happy to announce Coach Keith will be our practice coordinator. With his wealth of knowledge from his years as a player from t-ball to professional baseball, to his years as a hitting instructor we a re fully confident in his abilities. Starting with our next practice coach Keith will have a detailed plan pinned to the dugout as the players arrive. The plan will include proper warm-ups, timeline, and advanced skill stations. We are excited to see the improvement this upcoming season!
Here are a few designs we have been working on, let us know what you think.
