Good Evening Chaug Football Families!
We had a great turnout at today’s team/family picnic! A huge thank you goes out to all of our parent volunteers today. You rocked it out this afternoon!!
I am always in awe of our community of families giving of their time and energy. Your sense of teamwork and willingness to help make me proud to be a Chaug Football parent and fan!!!

Now for the updates:
>Regarding football pants and pads:
Many parents have inquired as to whether or not they need to buy these items.
~All players receive 1 practice pant, 1 white game pant, and 1 green game pant. They will also get the pads to go into the practice/game pants.
~Some parents/players opt to buy the all-in-one padded girdles.
Should this be your preference, these can be found locally at Dick’s Sporting Goods or at your favorite online sporting goods website.
Please note that this is not required.
> Monday, Aug. 20th
~Leftover pizza from today’s picnic will be brought to Chaug for the players to enjoy after practice
~Pictures for our Program Book will be taken after practice. Players and Coaches are asked to meet at the JV softball field behind the student parking lot. Look for Mr. Butcher or Mrs. Mills.
> Saturday, Aug. 25th

> Merchandise Sales/Game Socks
~While you can order apparel online at the link shared above and below, we have a very small supply of green Falcons shirts, Walk Thru shirts, and Walk Through shorts. Jenn Loddo is the contact regarding the remaining inventory. She can be reached at email@example.com.
~Game Socks: Many of you pre-ordered game socks. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with the vendor and the order had to be resubmitted. The good news is that Jenn Loddo was able to work with the vendor on making the correction and getting them delivered before Sept. 7th. She has also ordered extras so you will have an opportunity to buy game socks if you did not have a chance early on. Thank you very much for your patience.
