Warriors sign four players

The Cincinnati Warriors of the CAHL announced today that they have signed four players for their 2011 roster. Forwards, Josh Morgan and Pete Walker both signed deals with the Warriors as did Defenseman, Tye Panko and Andy Race.

Morgan a 21 year-old West Chester, OH native played two seasons for Lakota East HS of the CIHL and the SkateTown USA All-Stars. While playing for both teams he played in 52 games scoring 36 goals with 28 assists while only commiting 8 penalty minutes.

Walker, the 19 year-old Cincinnati, OH native played four seasons at Lakota East in the CHSHL and one with Fairfield High School playing in 13 games he scored 1 goal with 2 assists. He did make trips to the sin bin earning 65 penalty minutes in those 13 games.

Panko, a 6'3 215 pound Milford, OH native played three years at Lakota East HS playing in 83 games scoring 16 goals with 39 assists. He was captain for two seasons on the East Side of West Chester.

Andy Race a Kings Mills, OH native scored 3 goals with 19 assists in two seasons at Lakota East and one with Fairfield HS. He had 122 penalty minutes in those 72 games.

Cincinnati Warriors join CAHL

The Cincinnati Adult Hockey League (CAHL) announced today that they have accepted the expansion team Cincinnati Warriors into the D-2 ranks for the 2011 season. The Warriors did make player announcements today which can be seen in the article above. Cincinnati will be playing all 2011 CAHL home games at the historic Cincinnati Gardens.
