Defenseman signs one-year contract

The Cincinnati Battalion of the LHA announced today the signing of Defenseman, Josh Hall to a one-year contract. Hall played for Fairfield High School in pre season games during the 09-10 season collecting 1 assist and also had 34 PIM in just 4 games. "Josh Hall is going to provide a rough and tough start to our defensive game." said Owner and Head Coach, Pete Walker. Finacial promises were not disclosed.
Walker stays he will play, Battalion in contract talks with Two.

Cincinnati battalion owner, Pete Walker said today that he will be the Head Coach and play in the 2010 season as part of the Battalion. "I'm feeling good about it, I'm excited to put the blades back on and wear the Battalion jersey proud." The Cincinnati Battalion also announced today that they are in contract with two potential players for 2010. "we've called a couple guys about an oppertunity to play in 2010 and think they could be good additions to help us win a championship."
2006 LHA M.V.P signs two-year contract

Former Cincinnati Stealth captain and center, Josh Morgan has signed a two-year deal with the Cincinnati Battalion. Morgan led the Stealth to the King Clancy Cup in 2006 with 56 goals. "I'm excited to get back in and play hockey with this organization. Pete called me maybe 10 minutes after the news came down his dad bought the LHA and i'm very excited to know he wanted me on his team." Finacial promises were not disclosed.
Pete Walker brings back the Battalion!

As the LHA was revived this morning by Cincinnati buisnessman, Dennis Walker his son Pete has bought a new LHA franchise the Cincinnati Battalion. Pete says that all statistical marks from his former LHA franchise the Cincinnati Stealth will carry over with the Battalion. Pete led his Cincinnati Stealth to the 2006 King Clancy Cup championship along with captain Josh Morgan who is in talks about returning to the Battalion franchise in 2010. "This is a great day to be a hockey fan. We are the Cincinnati Battalion and we will win the King Clancy Cup as long as thier is an LHA." stated Pete Walker. "I'd like to think my father for reviving the league and giving me the oppertunity to own a franchise. We are going to be the roughest, toughest and fastest team in the LHA. We won't stand to lose."
