"NEW" 2018 Team Brochure has been updated. Feel free to download this team information by clicking on the above link.
Feel free to complete the "Join Now" form on this website also.
For the first time in a very long time (probably more than 1 decade), team fees had to be increased due to increased costs of our championship race registrations.
Crimson Knight Season Preparation
WEATHER: We will do our best to keep the practices as scheduled. If practice is cancelled due to weather, we will do our best to update the website (facebook too) and send out notifications. Cross Country is an all weather sport (except in the case of lightning), so meets and practices are generally always going to be held unless there are some other extraordinary circumstances.
COMPETITION NOTE: Our team athletes will compete in their designated age groups based on their age effective December 31 of the current year. Any competitor racing down will be designated as a NOVICE/NO MEDAL athlete in our regular season races.
Everyone should now be completing the information and sending in team fees starting in late September. This is needed to complete championship roster for the November races. Championship Races in November will require USATF Membership for each runner. Coach Campbell will let everyone know the steps they will need to complete at that time.
If you need spikes or have old spikes please bring your old ones to practice (if you don't want to keep them) and let Coach Campbell know if you need a pair. If we have a pair they are usually in very good condition and we should be able to exchange. If not, a visit to Runner's High might be the next step.
Please use your shirts from previous seasons. If you have a shirt that no longer fits, please feel free to hand that in to Coach Campbell since we have some runners that might be able to use them for the early part of the season. We have a limited supply of Adult Medium and Adult Large.
TEAM HOODIES (Sweat Shirts):
If you are interested in purchasing a hoodie, let Coach Campbell know your size. They are $25 each.

About the Crimson Knights
Celebrating 25 Years, back in the early 1990's several parents of students at St. James School in Woodbridge - New Jersey, established the Fall Cross Country Program within the Athletic Department and with much needed help from the St. James Knights of Columbus. In 1998, the club officially became a member organization under USA Track and Field, the USA governing body of the sport and its youth committee fosters youth participation in the sports of cross country and track & field. The club membership number is 07-0285 and is associated with USATF-NJ, a 501(c)(3) organization under USA Track and Field National in Indianapolis. This program is unique in that the team is also supported by many different organizations in Woodbridge. Based in Woodbridge, the Crimson Knights are a Youth Cross Country team comprised of students (grades K through 8) from the Greater Middlesex County area, including southern Union County and Monmouth County. The team's regular season is comprised of youth races sponsored by other running organizations in New Jersey under the rules & regulations of USA Track & Field. This program also participates in a nationwide running competition that culminates each year at the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships. These championship races have been held in places such as South Carolina, Nevada, Georgia, Illinois, Washington, Nebraska, Kansas, Virginia, Texas, New Mexico and Tallahassee, FL for the 2017 season. The program's season starts when the school year begins. The progam has a unique history and is an excellent opportunity for students to learn the needed dedication regarding training and competition in sports. Ask the Coaches about our history that includes a few NJ State High School Group Champions, All State, All County, All Area Runners, HS League & Conference and HS Division Champions. Quite a few record holders and more ! Yes, also several college runners have earned recognition as ECAC, IC4A and Conference leaders. Also several NCAA Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 honored runners and most recently Olympic Trails aspirations. After being involved in this sport for so long, we were bound to have some success !
Runners High - Main Street (Metuchen)
Located at 454 Main Street, Metuchen, New Jersery, 08840 732.549.9440 - This is an excellent running store to pick up a good pair of running shoes. Just say the Crimson Knight "Coaching Staff" sent you to receive a special team discount and to have your "Foot Strike" evaluated (if you are in 6th grade or higher only). Bring an old pair of running shoes with you when you go to the store, that helps in the evaluation(s).
Crimson Knight Alum Group "Who let the Knights Out ?"
A Famous Quote that Inspires Hardwork, Practice, Effort and Performance
"I firmly believe that any one person's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that they may hold dear, is that moment when one realizes that they have worked their heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious."
"We will not be denied!"
