St. Joseph's rallied but just fell short to Our Lady Of Loretto 50-49 @ Kennedy Park earlier today.  Eli Gwirtzman had 5 rebounds, Gian Saglromgos had 6 points, Dylan Shatz had 2 clutch free throws and 4 rebounds, Luke Rochler fouled out early in the fourth quarter but led all scorers with 24 points to go along with 3 assists and 7 rebounds, Justin Volman had 2 points and 2 assists, Zachary Tucker had 8 points including a clutch 3 pointer to go along with 15 rebounds, & Ryan Rovner had 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Note:  The game was played under protest due to Our Lady Of Loretto not being able to produce the required roster sheet prior to the game.  

St. Joseph's kept their playoff hopes alive by routing Our Lady Of Peace 41-21 earlier today.  Luke Rochler led all scorers with 19 points and added 6 rebounds, Eli Gwirtzman had 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals, Gian Saglromgos had 4 points and a season high 6 assists, Leo Keltz had 2 points and a rebound, Jon Gamson played lock down defense and had a steal, Dylan Shatz battling through the flu had 4 rebounds, Justin Volman had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and an assist, Zachary Tucker continued his dominance on the boards with 11 rebounds and added 2 assists, & Ryan Rovner had 10 rebounds, 6 steals, and 5 rebounds.

St. Joseph's dominating defense shut down St. Anthony's 40-35 earlier today.  St. Anthony's came in averaging just under 50 points per game and were visibly frustrated by St. Joseph's defense.  Eli Gwirtzman had 6 points and 3 rebounds, Leo Keltz had a steal, Jon Gamson had 2 points, Dylan Shatz had 4 points and 5 rebounds, Luke Rochler had 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, Justin Volman had 1 point and 3 rebounds, Zachary Tucker had 2 points and 11 rebounds, and Ryan Rovner had 12 points, including the two clutch foul shots he hit to put St. Joseph's up by four points with 40 seconds to play.

St. Joseph's came up just short falling 52-48 to Our Lady Of Loretto.  Eli Gwirtzman had 4 rebounds, Gian Saglromgos had 10 points, making him one of three St. Josephs players who scored double digits, Leo Keltz had a steal and a rebound, Jon Gamson had an assist, Dylan Shatz had 3 rebounds, Luke Rochler led all scorers with 19 points and added 5 assists, Justin Volman made both of his three point attempts and finished with 7 points, Zachary Tucker had 2 points and 8 rebounds, & Ryan Rovner had 10 points and 3 steals

St. Joseph's defeated Our Lady Of Lourdes 45-24 to complete a sweep of their home and home series.  Eli Gwirtzman made both of his free throws and had 4 rebounds, Gian Saglromgos had 5 points and 2 steals, Leo Keltz had a steal and a season high 4 rebounds, Jonathan Gamson had 8 points, Dylan Shatz had 2 points and 3 rebounds, Luke Rochler had 9 points and 5 assists, Justin Volman had 2 points and 2 rebounds, Zachary Tucker led all scorers with 12 points and led all rebounders with 11, & Ryan Rovner had 5 points and 3 steals.

St. Joseph's took care of business by beating Our Lady Of Lourdes 47-28.  Coach Rochler came out of retirement to fill in for Coach Rovner who was on a scouting mission in Mexico.  Jon Gamson broke out of his slump with 15 points, Eli Gwirtzman had 5 points, Justin Volman had a season high 10 points,  Zack Tucker added 9 points, Leo Keltz had 2 points, Gian Saglromgos had 2 points, Dylan Shatz battled hard all game, and Luke Rochler had 5 points.

St. Joseph's beat Our Lady Of Peace 27-24 in a true barn burner earlier today.  St. Joseph's suffocating defense held Our Lady Of Peace to only 8 points in the second half in the victory. Ryan Rovner led all scorers with a season high 16 points to go along with 6 rebounds, Eli Gwirtzman had 3 points and 2 steals, Gian Saglromgos had a point and 4 assists, Leo Keltz got the start and played great defense, Jon Gamson had 2 points, Dylan Shatz had 6 rebounds, Luke Rochler had 3 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists, Justin Volman had 2 points and 2 rebounds, & Zack Tucker had 11 rebounds. St. Joseph's has now won three straight games while holding their opponents to a paltry average of 27 points per game!

St. Joseph's shocked the CYO world beating previously unbeaten St. Boniface 35-24 early today.  St. Joseph's used their signature relentless defense in holding St. Boniface to only 24 points, which included a three pointer from half court at the end of the first half.  To put it in perspective, St. Boniface came in averaging 45 points per game!  St. Joseph's was led by Zach Tucker who had a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds, Eli Gwirtzman had 6 rebounds and 3 steals, Gian Saglromgos had 8 points and 3 rebounds, Leo Keltz had 2 rebounds and had a great steal, Jon Gamson had an assist, Dylan Shatz had 3 rebounds, Luke Rochler had 6 points and a season high 7 assists, Justin Volman was a force with 4 points and 5 rebounds, Zack Tucker had another double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds, & Ryan Rovner had 4 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals.

St. Joseph's won their first game of the season beating St. Aloysius 38-33.  Gian Saglromgos had 9 points and 4 rebounds, Leo Keltz had a rebound before exiting early due to a leg injury, Dylan Shatz had 4 points and 3 rebounds, Luke Rochler had 9 points, 5 assists, and 12 rebounds, Zack Tucker had 5 points and 11 rebounds, Ryan Rovner led all scorers with 11 points and added 3 steals, & Jon Gamson battled hard in the victory.

Long Beach made 11 three pointers in the first half alone en route to a 59-44 win over St. Joseph's.  St. Josephs battled back but came up short.  Eli Gwirtzman had 7 points and 4 rebounds, Jon Gamson had 2 points, Dylan Shatz had 16 points including 4 three pointers, Luke Rochler had a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, Justin Volman had 4 rebounds, Zach Tucker had 2 points and a season high 18 rebounds, & Ryan Rovner had 4 points and 11 rebounds.

The Boys of St. Joseph's Parish found themselves trailing 34-13 at the half and in an incredibly gutsy performance outscored St. Agnes 33-15 in the second half in a comeback that fell just short when Jonathan Gamsons tying three point attempt rattled around the rim @ St. Agnes Parish last night.  Eli Gwirtzman had 6 rebounds, Leo Keltz had a rebound, Jonathan Gamson had 5 points, Dylan Shatz had 3 points and 2 rebounds, Luke Rochler who battled through a back injury had 10 points including one 3 pointer from "way downtown", & 6 rebounds, Justin Volman had 4 rebounds, Zach Tucker absolutely went off with 15 points all in the second half to go along with 10 rebounds, Ryan Rovner had 8 points, 5 rebounds and had a highlight reel behind the back assist on one of Tuckers baskets, and Geon Saglromgos had 5 points and 3 rebounds.

Note:  There was a scoring discrepancy so although the final score was officially 49-46, I credited 47 points to the St. Josephs players individual statistics listed on this site.
