These boys came home champions today! Went 4-1 for the weekend. So incredibly proud of their energy, effort and hustle and how much they have grown as a team. They are so supportive of each other and their grit is unstoppable. Let’s Go Gladiators! ⚾️🥇
11U Tryouts
The Davenport Gladiators are hosting tryouts for the 11U Fall Season. If you are an experienced player and want to join our team, join us at practice and show us what you got!! Tryout dates are April 28th, May 5th, May 12th and May 19th. Tryouts will be held at Lewis Mathews Sports Complex in Davenport, FL. There is no fee associated with trying out, just bring your skills.

Gladiators Battle to a Second Place Finish
Continuing the successful Spring Season, the Davenport Gladiators played for the Championship in the "I'll be your Huckleberry" Tournament in Dundee, FL April 24th and 25th, 2021. After going 1-1 on Saturday, the Gladiators returned on Sunday with bats a' blazing. A string of impressive defense, pitching and hitting secured multiple victories on Sunday and landed the Gladiators in the Championship game. After battling for the entire game, the Gladiators fell short in the last inning, placing second in the Tournament. We could not be more proud of the effort, heart and determination the boys displayed.
Gladiators Start the Spring Season with Back-to-Back Third Place Finishes
The Davenport Gladiators kicked off the Spring Season with back-to-back third place finishes. In the Opening Tournament the Gladiators took home third place in the Pirates Treasure Tournament in Lakeland during the weekend of February 20th and 21st. The Gladiators followed that up with a third place finish in the GSA March Madness Super Regional during the weekend of March 6th and 7th. It is a good start to the Spring season. We are looking to add more successful outings to the Spring tilt.

9U Gladiators Take Third Place
Continuing the Fall Season tilt, the 9U Gladiators took third place at the Everest Expedition Tournament on October 24-25. After going 1-1 on the Saturday seeding day, the Gladiators began the Sunday slate of games with a loss to the four seed team. From there, the Gladiators went on a hot streak, beating the three seed followed by the top seeded team to claim third place in the winners bracket. It was a great day of riveting back and forth baseball. All teams played outstanding games, which made the victories all the better. Congratulations to the Gladiators for always battling and playing with such great heart and desire.

With the conclusion of the 2019-2020 Davenport Gladiator Fall baseball season, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our families that contributed to make our first kid pitch season a success. The Gladiators enjoyed much success throughout the season and were able to continue to build the team for the future. Thank you to all of the families, players and coaches for you tireless support, contributions and efforts in growing our organization. Looking forward to the Spring Season!
Gladiators Take Second Place at Tournament
Players from the 8U and 9U Davenport Gladiator baseball teams combined to participate in the GOB NAZCAR event August 15-16, 2020 in Apopka. The boys showed up to play with parental support aplenty. After the first day of seeding, the second day saw the Gladiators win to go on to play in the Tournament Championship Game. The Gladiators ultimately wound up taking second place in the tournament. It was a great outing and a great team effort. The boys continue to show a great desire to compete, to battle and display the heart of a champion. Appreciate the commitment and dedication of our families!!
Gladiators Take Third Place at Tournament
The Davenport Gladiators took third place in the 9u Division of the USA Star World Invitational Tournament in Kissimmee during the weekend of July 11-12. Congratulations to the Gladiators on a strong showing at that tournament!

Gladiators Take Second Place at Tournament
The Davenport Gladiators 8u team took second place at the Summer Slugfest Tournament in Apopka over the weekend of July 18-19. The Gladiators had a strong performance throughout the tournament which lead them to the Championship game. Despite a strong fight, the Gladiators finished in second place. Congratulations to the team for a fantastic effort in the tournament.
